Friendship Potion
Try making a magical Friendship Potion using colourful ingredients and creative materials – a fun, hands-on activity for children to explore friendship, kindness, sharing, and teamwork while developing their imagination and fine motor skills.

RESOURCES NEEDED:
1. Large tray or sensory tray
2. Bowls, cups, or small pots
3. Spoons or Scoops
4. Water with food colouring or washable paint
5. Natural materials such as sticks, leaves, herbs, or flowers
6. Pom-poms, beads, or loose parts
7. Chalk markers or labels with friendship words
8. Aprons or wipes for cleanup

Step by Step:
1. Set Up the Potion Station
Arrange bowls, spoons, and natural materials on the tray.

2. Introduce Friendship Words
Talk about words such as kindness, caring, sharing, and being friendly.

3. Create the Potion
Encourage children to mix ingredients together while talking about what makes a good friend.

4. Explore and Imagine
Children can scoop, pour, stir, and create their own friendship potion recipes.

Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring Little Culture, Big Adventures at our Valentines Park Branch! 🌍✨

3. A selection of healthy fruits and vegetables
4. Chopping board (optional)
5. Aprons or wipes for cleanup
6. Adult supervision

Step by Stepz:
1. Prepare the Table:
Set out plates and child-safe knives

2. Introduce Healthy Foods
Talk about the fruits and vegetables available and their colors, shapes, and textures.

3. Wash the Produce:
Encourage children to help wash the fruits and vegetables before preparing them.

4. Create a Healthy Snack:
Support children to cut, peel, or arrange the foods onto their plates.
