Today, 31st January is The Feast Day of John Bosco - Patron Saint of apprentices, editors and publishers, young people and magicians.

John Bosco was born on 16th August 1815, he passed away on January 31st 1888 - every year on this day we celebrate his life.

Did you know there are over 3,000 Don Bosco educational centres across the world? And we are one of them. All of our staff embrace the salesian ethos, we see the good in all of our young people and guide them throughout their time with us.

Today we celebrated his life with a Fun Day for the students, with lots of activities and competitions - all themed around John Bosco. Students then learnt the background of John Bosco, his mission and how we carry on his values. We then learnt about the background of our Bosco, which was started by our beloved Sister Cecily Dunn.

It's results day!

We hope everyone got the grades they wanted and worked so hard towards. This year marks the return of official examination conditions after COVID - whatever your results may be, remember the past few years have been difficult for everyone and whatever grade you may have received you should be proud of yourself.

Bosco is open to anyone aged 16-19 years old, or 19-25 years old if you have an Education Health Care Plan. You do not need any qualifications or specific grades to enroll, we offer a personalised curriculum that enables you to access education in a small, nurturing environment with the focus of supporting you to get employment ready or providing a pathway to adult education.

BOSCOFFEE 2.0 @ THE BRUNEL MUSEUM

We are very pleased to announce that The Bosco College will be working in partnership with The Brunel Museum to deliver and create more work placements for our students. In conjunction with this, we will be opening BOSCOFFEE 2.0 tomorrow (Saturday 14th May 2022) at The Brunel Museum from 11.00am onwards.

We are very excited at this new opportunity and hope to see lots of people at the opening of Boscoffee 2.0 - make sure you pop by and say hello.

There will be a selection of coffees, fruit juices and sweet treats available.

Would you like to attend a small and friendly college that will create a personalised curriculum to meet your aspirations? Then you should come to Bosco.

Bosco is offering an exciting range of level 3 courses from September. If you are interested in Business, Digital Media and IT or Sport and Physical Activity please give us a ring and arrange an interview. To enrol on these courses you will need to have achieved at least a grade 4 in English and Maths GCSE or have achieved Level 2 functional skills in both subjects.

Don't worry if you are not expected to achieve these grades - we offer courses to suit all abilities, regardless of the qualifications you join us with.

If you are aged between 16 and 18 and not currently attending college you can register now for Bosco’s “Back into Learning” course. This is an intensive programme of English, maths, ICT and employability skills that will either help you get into work or on to a full-time course from September.
