Back in what feels like a lifetime ago I played guitar in this band. I've still got various vinyl copies of our album including a Japanese pressing and the USA release on MCA which I'm proud of. I even have a picture disc single that was made into a clock!?.
Whilst searching around on Ebay I stumbled across this, something I had no idea existed at all. Naturally I snapped it up. A nice addition.

Short Story.
Just a few weeks ago I found myself in conversation and remarked how I've always disliked stickers on guitars and that I would never have one on any guitar of mine.

Last Saturday morning I was doing my weekly lesson with the youngest student I've ever had. She's only 6 yrs old. When the lesson finished she smiled and said "that was a really good lesson, thank you", and 'awarded' me a sticker!. A rather touching moment it has to be said.

The photo shows my mid 80's MIJ Stratocaster which for years has had an unsightly 'ding' in the front which has always irritated me. That sticker went straight on the offending area, completely contradicting myself and I'm perfectly happy about that.
Never say never.

This man knows how to PLAY a tune.
Such a creative and unique voice on guitar. Love his interviews too. I find he speaks in a similar way to the way he plays.

I've just finished some recording having restrung my AS200 with Elixir Nanoweb 11 - 49 gauge strings.
I always use Elixir for acoustic but for some reason never tried them on an electric. I wish I had as they are producing the best tone I've ever heard from this great guitar.
Amazing!.

Contains transcriptions of tracks from Electric Outlet, Still Warm and Blue Matter. On the inside cover I just found there is the back stage pass I managed to secure the first time I saw him play live at The Town & Country Club in the late 80's. Photo in comments.

I am genuinely shocked and saddened to hear just now that Terry Reid has passed away. One of my musical heroes, a voice like no other. I feel honoured to have had the opportunity to meet him in 2010 whilst performing at the Moare Music Festival. A true artist, one of the greats. Rest in Peace Terry Reid 🙏.

I've decided I rather like my Hercules double guitar stand after it having been folded away for the last couple of years. Those automatic catches makes it much easier to just grab a guitar or reposition in place without any faff. I don't like faff.
