WHERE MUSIC AND MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE
BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN SCIENCE, FITNESS, MOVEMENT, MUSIC & RHYTHM
“Science taught me resilience. DJing taught me to trust it.”
Molina aka .wav — paediatric brain tumour researcher, cancer biologist and DJ — started mixing halfway through her PhD as a way to cope with the pressure of research and the difficulty of ever really switching off.
What began as a stress buster became something more lasting: a creative outlet, a community, and another way of understanding failure, instinct and persistence.
Now she’s playing a Research fundraiser at on 26 June — bringing her two worlds into the same room.

Trauma is not “stored in the body” as a fixed archive.
The brain keeps predicting danger through rigid patterns. Healing is about restoring flexibility, movement, agency, and the capacity to update the system.
This is exactly where MIM works—through rhythm, music, movement, and structured sensory feedback to help the system become flexible again.

Raving is...
Join our movement, comment RAVE for a chance to change the narrative.
Rhythm, unity, and movement aren’t trends they’re part of who we are.
For generations, the beat of the drum has carried stories, connection, and healing. Ancient wisdom lives on through community, through shared movement, through ritual — from fire circles to moon ceremonies.
Today, that same energy flows through modern spaces. The soundsystem, the bassline, the pulse of the drum bringing people together for something deeper than just music.
This is what raving means to us:
A space for freedom.
A space for release.
A space for joy, celebration, and connection.
Because the rhythm has never left us it’s always been in our DNA.
