🚵‍♂️ “My summer was the best ever…”

That’s how Demo (Y11 Hybrid) described his incredible holiday in Bulgaria which he spent downhill mountain biking almost every day! From early 4am starts to mountain trails filled with dust, roots, and rocks, he pushed himself to the limit and loved every second.

One of the highlights? A race in Pamporovo with a 3-metre drop and a 7-metre jump that tested both skill and courage. “It was tough,” Demo said, “but an incredible experience I’ll remember forever.”

Now, he’s already gearing up for next season!

🚴‍♂️ 144km. 6 hours. One unforgettable ride.

Meet Christian (Y11 Hybrid) who showed incredible courage, stamina, and determination taking on the Tour of Britain “Ride the Route”, a 144km cycling challenge through the rolling hills and mountains of South Wales. ⛰️

Starting and finishing in Newport, Christian rode the exact same route that professional cyclists would race just a day later. He tackled steep climbs, winding valleys, and the brutal Caerphilly Mountain with grit and focus. 💪

After six hours and eight minutes of non-stop cycling, he crossed the finish line with a huge smile (and very tired legs 😅). But more than the distance or time, Christian said the biggest lesson he learned was about pacing, perseverance, and pushing yourself beyond what you think is possible.

An incredible achievement and a perfect example of LPS courage in action. 🌟

Meet Destini 🌟



A passionate and dedicated dancer, Destini trains in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and commercial styles. Dance has always been her creative outlet, and a space where she’s grown in confidence, found lifelong friendships, and developed key life skills like self-discipline, motivation, and organisation.

Destini is now pursuing her dream of a career in dance and performing arts, with some incredible achievements already under her belt. Most recently, she qualified for the BTDA National Finals 2025 after winning the London and Essex senior heats in both Modern and Musical Theatre solos.
