N & R Foldings was founded by a pair of former classmates, who are Mexican and Japanese, at the Royal college of Art in London.
They work in various field such as art, product design and fashion, exploring the possibilities of folding.

N&R busca diseñadores.
Colegas diseñadores, N&R es un estudio de diseño de producto con base en Londres y Tokio.
Lo fundé con mi amigo Naoki Kawamoto en el 2012 y en estos cuatro años hemos diseñando bicicletas, bolsas para Issey Miyake, hemos trabajado con Sony y Nike. Diseñamos una piel flexible para robots. Hacemos escultura, instalaciones y juguetes y colaboramos con diseñadores en varia partes del mundo.

Después de una década estoy de vuelta en México y estoy empezando a montar N&R México. El estudio estará basado en Cancún y funcionará como centro de diseño y de desarrollo de nuevos productos. Este mes nos llegaron tres impresoras 3D y una cortadora láser. Tenemos un centro de Maquinado CNC, taller mecánico y un equipo de técnicos cuyo trabajo es apoyarnos en el proceso de diseño y desarrollo de ideas.
Ahora estoy armando el equipo de diseño y estoy buscando a dos personas.
A. Un diseñador de producto. Puede ser ingeniero, arquitecto, diseñador, no me importa. Solo quiero ver el trabajo que han hecho y que me digan que pueden hacer.
B. Un design manager. Alguien que ayude a correr el estudio. Que sepa de diseño y que sea muy organizado/da
Como mencioné el estudio esta en Cancún y sera necesario que cualquier interesado esta dispuesto a vivir en el caribe Mexicano.
