We have had an exciting Autumn Term here at Thrill. From introducing our new recruits ages 5 –7 years into the After School Spy Club to working with new schools such as Holy Cross, training their agents in Creativity, Teamwork and Communication.

This half term we are loving the article written for Teacher Magazine, "How can children learn through plat at school?"
The article is based on a study conducted by the LEGO Foundation.

How can children learn through play at school? A new study by the LEGO Foundation, released today, explores how children can learn through play beyond the early years, in order to develop a holistic set of skills along with academic knowledge, to thrive and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

A big thank you for making our son’s 10th birthday a great fun filled day enjoyed by him and all his friends. Bryan was amazing and kept 14 boys engaged at all times. It was great that there were so many different aspects to the party so there was something for everyone. I think the interrogation was funny but the boys particularly enjoyed the laser tag (indoors and outdoors) and of course the mystery case!

We are excited to announce our Autumn Term’s programme now also available to 4 – 7 year olds & 7 – 11 year olds.

We will be running After School Clubs at the The Masbro Centre (Brook Green) on Mondays from 4 to 5 pm and from 5.15 – 6.15pm and Bishops Gilpin School (Wimbledon )on Saturday mornings from 10 – 11 am and 11.15 to 12.15 am. Times depend on age groups. Please go to our classes4kids link to book.

Many thanks to the Country House Camps for having Infinity Spy Agency join them to teach their campers essential problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.

The summer term has also seen the launch of our new mission, Boudicca. To give you a taste of what the mission involves our special agent B has written a Boudicca mission statement:

Yesterday, work was halted at a construction site in central London, where a collection of Roman boxes bearing the Infinity logo were uncovered.

We believe that these boxes contain messages sent from one of our time-travelling field agents. The Infinity team will have to break into these sealed chests and use the sketches, maps and scrolls inside to help the Roman general, Paulinus, escape from the clutches of his enemies. It's the only way to stop the evil organisation, Kairos, from wreaking havoc on Londinium.

Our super-computer BETI is on hand to help, but be warned agents, you will need all your skills of code-breaking, co-operation and organisation to complete this mission!

Infinity Spy Agency has also had its Spy Van out and about recruiting new agents at Brackenbury Primary, John Betts, West London Free School and Garfield Primary School summer fairs. We are always on the look out for new agents to join so watch out for the van or get in touch to find out more about the After School Clubs and Parties.

The final term of our first year was a busy one at the Infinity Spy Agency HQ. Our Agents at The Masbro Centre, American School London, Glendower School, Ecole Jeannine Manuel and Fulham Prep School After School Clubs successfully completed the term’s missions which included defeating Kairos our enemy, learning key agent skills and self defence.

The end of the Summer Term has also seen newly recruited agents from King Alfred, Merton Court, Brambletye and St Georges, Windsor in school workshops complete missions and work towards improving their problem solving, communication and teamwork. We were very impressed with all agents recruited from schools and really enjoyed working with them!

It has been a busy half term here at Thrill Education with exciting after school clubs taking place at Brew Cafe in Chiswick, Pomona's in Notting Hill and at Fulham Prep. Our recruited agents have been deciphering codes, following leads and using their problem solving skills to complete missions. It was a blast!!

With Christmas holidays approaching fast, Thrill will be running a holiday club at the Trinity United Reformed Church in Wimbledon, between the 17th - 21st of December. We look forward to seeing you there.
