Muddy, breathless, and not a single one of us standing alone.
We come from different places. Different countries, different cultures, different walks of life, different ages. And somewhere along the way, none of that became a difference at all. It became our strength. It became us. One family, one heartbeat, all in.
Because that’s who we are. When it’s hard, we come together. When someone’s tired, we carry them. When someone falls behind, we slow down and we reach back. We don’t leave anyone in the mud — we pull each other out, and we cross the line together. Every single time.
This is what makes Chairbears unlike anywhere else. Not the building. Not the badges. The people. People who are passionate. People who are kind. People who pour everything they have into caring for our little ones, and then turn around and pour even more into each other.
And our children see it. They see grown-ups who show up, who lift each other higher, who choose love over and over again. That’s the example we live every day — because they deserve nothing less than the very best of us.
So when we say we did this together — we mean it with everything we have. Helping to raise over £4,000 for Cancer Research UK, alongside Abbie Dillon. Personal Trainer and Group Exercise instructor. - For the ones still fighting. For the ones we’ve lost. For hope. For each other.
