We were SO unbelievably proud that Kings Tutors was selected as a finalist at in the ‘Best Tutoring Provider’ category. The results were announced on Tuesday night.

What I do remember is making homemade Christmas decorations, ceilidh dancing in the kitchen, getting to dip my pinky finger in the baileys, baking mince pies, going to visit Santa, winter walks, going out for hot chocolate, writing and delivering Christmas Cards, stealing the chocolates off of the tree…

Over the course of World War I, 880,000 British forces died. The toll on the adult male population meant that the 1921 Census recorded 109 women for every hundred men. In WWII, a staggering further 384,000 soldiers were killed in combat and 70,000 civilians killed in bombings.
We teach about these fallen heroes in school so that the sacrifices they made are not forgotten. They lost their lives for us.

It was wonderful to see the Secretary of State for Education Nadhim Zahawi endorsing tutoring at The Tutors’ Association’s conference today. The industry has come a long way over recent years and it is great that tutoring is widely accepted as providing such a vital part in education.
