Most Americans prefer non-violent border enforcement finds a UCL-led study.

Lead author Dr Sonmez says “Violent enforcement does not have the strong support of US citizens. However when the public believe migrants pose a threat, support for violent measures increase."

Most Americans favour non-violent measures, such as temporary barricades, over violent measures, like the use of rubber bullets, by border enforcement officers towards undocumented migrants on the southern border, a UCL-led study has found.

Her Imagination Library Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library UK supported CLPE's Closing the Vocabulary Gap project by gifting children books to enjoy at home, alongside copies used in their early years settings. The Institute for Employment Studies evaluation explored the project’s contribution to teaching, vocabulary and literacy.
