Hello to all friends of the North London branch of the BHI

Firstly I would like to wish you all the best possible 2022 and that you all stay safe till this virus is put in it’s box.
If all goes well then at some point soon I hope we can arrange a meeting, one was planned for November, but as its said and oft been told plans of mice and men!
So do stay safe till then.

Wednesday's lecture was absolutely fantastic. Massive thanks to Nigel Taylor who talked about the Whitechapel Bell Foundry.

Unfortunately, David is unable to be with us today due to circumstances beyond his control. Branch member, HJ technical editor and one of our organising team, Justin Koullapis, has stepped into breach and the meeting will be going ahead albeit not as planned.

The new talk will be:

"Dobson, a longcase clock of the sea and land"

And will be about restoring a longcase, with tales of shipwreck, scuba diving, the Hun, and more
