The Role

We’re partnering with a well-established international school in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), UAE to hire an engaging Primary Teacher. You’ll deliver high-quality classroom teaching, contribute to a positive school culture, and support pupils’ academic and pastoral development within an international curriculum setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Primary (KS1/KS2/Elementary) students.

Differentiate instruction to support a range of abilities and EAL learners.

Use data to inform teaching, track progress, and report to parents.

Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment, and wider school life.

Uphold strong safeguarding and pastoral standards.

You Bring

Recognised teaching licence (UK/US/South Africa) AND a degree in Education (or degree + PGCE).

Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification classroom experience.

Strong classroom management and a student-centred approach.

English fluency; additional languages a plus.

(Experience in international schools/IB/British curricula is welcome but not essential.)

I am currently recruiting a Head of Elementary for one of the charter schools in Abu Dhabi, UAE, they deliver the American Common Core curriculum, this role will be for a Jan 2022 start, you will be working with an international team, the school building is purpose-built with all the latest classroom tech one can think of. The main purpose of charter schools is to increase standards within the national schooling system.

The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience and well versed in the Common Core curriculum. IB Experience is a bonus
- Due to the size of the school, experience with working in large scale operations is highly needed
- UAE or Middle East experience
- You should have a proven track record as an instructional leader making a positive impact on the outcome of your students and welfare
