🔹The most famous classification of skin phototypes is the Fitzpatrick scale, created in 1976 by the American physician Thomas B. Fitzpatrick. He classified the skin into phototypes from one to six, based on each person's ability to tan, as well as sensitivity and redness when exposed to the sun.

1) The Fitzpatrick scale is an international classification, applying to scientific questions.

2) The classification addresses the sensitivity of each individual to the possibility of sunburn. In darker tones, melanin scatters ultraviolet rays.
