Oh my goodness, this is so cool.
I cant believe I am really going to be the "Bird Woman" in Mary Poppins, for real. Wow!
I have loved singing this song 'Feed the Birds' as a bedtime lullaby to my children and I never dreamt for a moment, not in a million years, that I would be cast as this amazingly wonderful character. God is wonderful and His ways and plans are different different and far greater than ours.
Not only am I living this dream, I am also working with the most amazing company and incredibly talented team. I feel very blessed and give all the glory to God. 🙌🤗😊
We are off to Bristol next week and will open in Bristol Hippodrome on the 4th Nov.

The last two weeks had been a whirl wind. The week of September 16th saw a myriad of long journeys for my husband and me, to different parts of the UK as I was finishing the final days of my one-woman shows tour, on the 21st September to concentrate on my role as the “Bird Woman” in Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins’ 2024-2025 UK and Ireland Tour.
Just before my last show I made a trip on the 19th September to the University of East London (UEL) Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL), which was the venue for the prestigious G100 Club Symposium, organised by Doirean Mullings Bryan Wilson UEL’s Associate Professor in Sustainability Management and UK Country Chair of the G100 Higher Education & Industry Connect Wing.
At Dr Wilson's request I had the honour of opening the G100 symposium with a song on 19 September 2024. I received G100 Club "Exceptional Women of Excellence" Award and my husband Stephen Komlosy and I accepted the "Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All" Award on behalf of our daughter Aret Komlosy. Both awards were presented by Professor Fatima Annan-Diab, Executive Dean of RDSBL.
It was good to meet Professor Amanda Broderick, UEL Vice-Chancellor & President; and to see old friends Eula Clarke, award-winning journalist Zeinab Badawi, Bishop Esme Beswick Mbe Guests included His Excellency Alexander Williams, Jamaica’s High Commissioner to the UK.
The symposium was a resounding celebration of leadership, diversity.
Well done Dr Doirean Wilson and UEL for a truly successful and positive event.

Wait until you see me dressed as the Bird Woman in my rag togs.
All I can say is I am working with a great company and a fabulous bunch of people. God is always faithful.
I am going to have fun wearing those wonderful rags, and convincing the children to feed my feathery friends, the birds.
Don't miss this Mary Poppins - The Musical tour. All the talents in this show are phenomenal, and so are the entire production team.

Mary Poppins - The Musical
Talk about being blessed. My God is awesome. For years, I would sing my favourite lullaby "Feed the Birds" to my children and recently to my grandchildren. Never in my dreams did I imagine that one day, I would be given the opportunity to play this great role, with the UK's best production company Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, on the UK/Ireland 2024/2025 Tour.
It is such an honour and blessing to be working with incredibly beautiful people. The absolutely beautiful Stefanie Jones and the charmingly handsome Jack Chambers (both from Australia) are absolutely perfect as Mary Poppins and Bert. I am already a big fan of these two.
All members of the cast and production team are just amazing. The men are incredibly gorgeous, the ladies are beautiful, the children are lovely, and every single member of the cast and backstage team are all amazingly talented.
What gets me is the heart and spirit that has gone into this production. I get the feeling we will all be living our dreams on this tour. And that means that the audiences, wherever we go, are in for the treat of a lifetime. Once seen, never to be forgotten. What a blessing for me to be involved in this. It can only be God.
Since we started the rehearsals, I feel that this is going to be the best team I have ever worked with, in my career. Amen.
So, bring your family and join us for this once in a lifetime journey by booking the UK & Ireland Tour of Mary Poppins! ☂️
I am the ‘Bird Woman’. Feed the birds my darlings.

Celebrating Registry Wedding Anniversary to an amazing man.
God’s ways are greater than our ways and His plan is perfect. That is why I have learned to be still and know that He is God, that “all things work together for good to those who love Him….” This is so true.
I was in my teens when I left my country Nigeria for an alien land and culture, trusting in my mother’s faith that no matter what happens, they will be part of God’s plans. I am to put my total faith and trust in Jesus.
Then came the biggest challenge. The affairs of the heart. I met my Stephen. To cut a long story short, he proposed after two hours of meeting me. I left the heavy decision making to my mother, whose wisdom I trusted. If he can run the gauntlet of being approved by my large family, then he must be a good man for me. Marrying me meant marrying my family. Therefore. they may as well be involved in the decision making.
We first married in the registry and ten years later received a Special Dispensation from Pope (Saint) John Paul ll. This placed God firmly in the middle of our marriage.
Don’t get me wrong, none of these were easy or trouble free. Honestly it was the opposite.
Today on the anniversary of our 1970s registry office wedding, I can honestly say, I could not possibly love my Stephen Komlosy more than I do now. The way he has loved me and continues to do so, greatly humbles me.
Happy Anniversary darling. Thank you for loving me the way you do. God bless you.🙏🏽😍🥰😘💘💝

Happy 11th Birthday to our wonderful grandson. What a great and special blessing today is. It seems like only yesterday I was in the hospital, helping to deliver this angel. We give God thanks for his 11th birthday and pray that he will live his life under the shelter and protection of our almighty God.
May you grow in the love of God and claim the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ all of your life and may his life be long and full of days. Amen.
Happy Birthday darling Dante. We prayed for a wonderful child and God gave us you. You continue to fill the lives of those who love you and know you, with such great love, consideration, joy and respect.
We love you so very much. Your proud grandma (Peckier), and grandad (Dida) Stephen Komlosy

For some reason I forgot to post this wonderful photo from this year's State Opening of Parliament on 17th July. Stephen Komlosy and I were honoured to have been invited to the Opening by our favourite MP Andrew Rosindell MP After which we were also invited to the Reception, hosted by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House, at his residence in Parliament.
What a wonderful and eventful day it was. Sir Lindsay and his family were very welcoming, warm and great hosts.

My husband Stephen Komlosy and I are sad to hear this sad news about the death of Charles Blackwell. May God rest his soul. 🙏🏼
Our deepest sympathy, love, and prayers are with his daughter Mandy Blackwell and all his family at this terrible time.
Charles Blackwell was a brilliant musician. Stephen remembers, that at the age of only 21 he was already arranging the music for 30 piece, full orchestras, with the result that he was responsible for many No 1 hits for Billy Fury and P.j. Proby, not to mention his own song "Come Outside" with Mike Sarne, which Stephen produced. But much more than that, Charles was a beautiful man, such a good friend, and so kind, he would give you his last penny.
I was privileged to work with Charles on my very first album in the 1970s and on the album for my stage musical 'Sun Dance" in 2004. After the ease of working with Charles, during which he restored my confidence in my songwriting abilities. He even encouraged and allowed me to recreate the African sounds and rhythms I was hearing in my head. No other musicians or producers have been that kind, confident or generous enough to allow me that freedom as a recording artist. We remember him as the nicest man in Music, a one off, in the Music industry.
Rest in peace, Charles. 🙏🙏🌹🌹 ❤️❤️
