🎉 It’s National Playday! 💫
Born in 1986 out of the efforts of playworkers facing cuts to school-based play centres and playgrounds in the UK, more than 30 years later, the campaign continues to champion the importance of play in children's lives.
This year’s theme celebrates the power of play and the importance of creating accessible, inclusive spaces where children and young people can connect, explore, and thrive.
Children will play anywhere and everywhere — but quality, safe, and welcoming spaces make all the difference. 💛 Play boosts physical health, supports emotional well-being, and helps kids feel truly valued in their community.
