🦔 This week in Hedgehogs 🦔 we have been “getting to know” one another. We have shared our favourite stories and nursery rhymes. We have enjoyed exploring the new resources in our room.

✍️ We have started strengthening our fine motor skills by using tweezers to pick up and transfer dinosaurs. We have rolled play dough into many shapes squashing and squeezing it. We have threaded pasta to strengthen our eye-hand co-ordination.

🟰This week we started to look at numbers and counting our friends as we line up.

🌳 During Forest school, we explored the environment, searching for leaves, sticks to create a portrait of themself. We enjoyed the wet weather by jumping in muddy puddles

🧑🏻‍🍳 We made a delicious black berry and apple crumble.

🤖 This week in Robot Reg we explored the sounds of different farm animals, than we sang “old MacDonald had a farm”

⚽️ We have enjoyed our first week of football, listening and following instructions. We used small and large movements to score a goal. One child commented “This is fun!”. All of the hedgehogs 🦔 enjoyed their first lesson.

🦉 This week in Owls, we have been getting to know each other and settling into our new class environment🦉

🎶We have been excited to welcome back all of our enrichment programs and we have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Robot Reg, Cooking, Tiny creators,Jo Jingles, and Football⚽️

👩‍🏫During circle time, we have completed a variety of activities to help us learn more about one another. The children have enjoyed sharing their favourite activities, foods, and colours, while also learning the names of their friends and teachers📚

🌳We had a wonderful time at Forest School, exploring the area and becoming familiar with the space and resources available. The children used natural materials to create self portraits and enjoyed discovering the outdoor environment🌳

📚Book of the week - We have enjoyed reading our book of the week, Hanna asks for help📚

🌳The children thoroughly enjoyed painting a tree and carefully sticking tissue paper onto the branches as part of our family tree display activity🎨🖌️

⚽️We also had great fun developing our football skills this week, practising a range of techniques and enjoying working together as a team⚽️

✨We had a wonderful WOW moment today! ✨

📚One of our owls brought in a lovely book to share with his friends, making story time extra special and enjoyable for everyone📚

🐰🦌🐇 This week in Bunnies, Fawns and Rabbits we have been getting to know you!

🧸 We have built new relationships with Baby Ballet, Sing and sign and Jo Jingles. We enjoyed exploring our local neighbourhood on our weekly outings.

⭐️ A huge well done to our amazing Sienna for achieving her Level 2 qualification.

💪She has worked incredibly hard, shown real dedication, and we couldn’t be prouder of her success.

After a couple of months well earned rest, Sienna will be joining our very own EWPS Academy a bespoke, in‑house training programme designed to help our team grow, shine, and progress through higher level qualifications.

We can’t wait to see her continue to flourish!

This week in Hedgehogs 🦔 we have enjoyed welcoming our new children.

They have been exploring their new classroom, reconnecting with old friends and making new friendships.
We have been learning about their likes and dislikes, following routines and learning our classroom expectations.

✨Thank you for your support and we cannot wait to see what the year ahead has install✨

🦉This week in Owls, we have been busy settling into our new room and getting to know our new friends and teachers. The children have shown great confidence and curiosity as they explored their new environment and began building new relationships✨

🧑‍🍳Cooking this week, we had lots of fun making apple and blackberry crumble. The children used their fine motor skills to help prepare the ingredients by mixing, pouring, and sprinkling. They enjoyed talking about the fruits and exploring different textures👩‍🍳

🌳We have also spent lots of time exploring both our new room and garden area. The children have enjoyed investigating the different resources, engaging in imaginative play, and developing their physical skills outdoors. They have been climbing, balancing, running, and working together as they discovered all the exciting areas available to them🌳

🐰This week in Bunnies, we have been exploring Teddy Bears' Picnic🐰

🧸For our craft activity, the children painted a teddy bear using brown paint and forks, creating lovely textured fur patterns. They enjoyed being creative and exploring different ways to make marks with the paint🧸

🧸In our sensory tray, we set up a Teddy Bear Tea Party, where the children enjoyed scooping, pouring, and engaging in imaginative play. They had lots of fun pretending to serve food and drinks to their teddy bears and friends, helping to develop their communication and social skills🧸

🏊‍♀️On Wednesday, we had an exciting Pool Day. The children had a wonderful time splashing in the water, playing with their friends, and enjoying the sunshine🏊‍♀️

🥳As Thursday was our last day, we celebrated with a special party. The children enjoyed dancing, playing party games, and spending time together as we marked the end of a fantastic year🥳

🐰We are so proud of all our bunnies, and it has been a pleasure to be part of their journey this year. It has been wonderful to watch them grow in confidence, develop new skills, build friendships, and learn so much along the way🐰

✨We would like to wish all of our bunnies the very best as they move on to their next class. We know they will continue to shine, and we hope everyone has a lovely, relaxing summer break filled with fun and happy memories✨

🌞 What a fantastic final week we've had in Fawns! 🦌

We've had so much fun celebrating our last week together with lots of exciting activities! 🥳

🧸 We loved bringing in our favourite teddies for a special teddy bears' picnic. We also enjoyed decorating teddy bear outlines using a variety of different materials, getting creative with our wonderful designs. 🎨✨

🎉 We said goodbye to all our friends before the summer holidays with a fantastic party filled with fun games, lots of dancing, laughter, and, of course, delicious party food! 💃🕺🍕🧁

☀️ To make the most of the warm weather, we had an amazing time cooling off and splashing in the pool. 💦🏖️

We hope everyone has a wonderful, fun-filled summer✨

✨As we say goodbye to our wonderful Rabbit class 25-26, we want to wish each and every one of you the very best on your next adventure. It has been a pleasure to watch you all grow and learn this year, and we are so proud of you✨

The Owls have had a wonderful final week at nursery! The owls team want to wish each and every one of you the very best for your adventures at big school. It has been a pleasure to watch you all grow and learn this year, and we are so proud of you all. We know you are going to do amazingly in your new schools.
We have loved spending our last week together and making so many special memories. We would like to say an enormous thank you to all of the parents for all of your support throughout the year and for our wonderful cards and gifts. Have a fantastic summer Owls, We will miss you all! 🦉💚💛

This week in Hedgehogs 🦔 we have enjoyed celebrating “Teddy bears 🐻 picnic” 🧺 we have had a fantastic time bringing our Teddy bears 🧸 and sitting together during lunch. This bought many conversations about our bears and home life.

The rest of the week we have enjoyed spending the last week playing with our friends, teachers and making memories before we say goodbye and move on to our new adventures and enjoy the summer holidays.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Hedgehogs 🦔 parents for their support throughout our year and to thank you for all, for the wonderful gifts.

🦉🦔 Owls & Hedgehogs 🦉🦔

🤖In robot Reg we recapped the sounds “b, f, and l” linking those sounds to the summer theme.

🎶 In Jo Jingles, we shook our tambourines in time to the music and bounced the shark on the lycra, trying our hardest to stop it coming towards us 🦈

This week in Owls we have been learning about pirates and mermaids 🏴‍☠️ 🧜‍♀️

🏴‍☠️ The children had lots of fun sailing the seven seas searching for treasure in our pirate ship role play area. They used telescopes and maps to find treasure 🪎

🧑‍🍳 This week we made a couscous salad. The children worked hard to chop all of the vegetable into small pieces and mixed them in with the couscous - everyone was excited to had a delicious healthy dinner!

🗺️ We used teabags to stain some paper and then created our own pirate treasure maps. We had lots of fun following the directions to find the buried treasure 🪎

🏅We had great fun at our sports day. We loved having our grown ups come in to cheer us on while we did our activities - bean bag toss, water relay, ball throw and egg and spoon race 🥳

🚲 In cycletots we had lots of fun playing musical statues and crouching down on our bikes to limbo under the tape

This week in hedgehogs 🦔 we have enjoyed a week of “pirates and mermaids”
We enjoyed learning pirate 🏴‍☠️ language “ah me hearty”, “arrrrr”. We used large movements to move like a mermaid 🧜‍♀️

🌳During Forest school 🌳 we used the rakes to look for treasure, digging up stones. We made marks in the sand.
We made ice cream 🍦 which we enjoyed eating together around base camp.

🟰 During maths we rolled the dice to count the treasure and place inside the treasure chest 🪎.
✍️ We enjoyed many different pirate 🏴‍☠️ themed stories. We created one long piece of art using many different resources together on the floor.
🧑🏻‍🍳This week we have made cous-cous salad.

⚽️ This week during football we practiced our kicking skills and scoring goals for the final session.
