The Fashion School

The Fashion School Based in Chelsea SW3 3ST. We teach design, illustration & sewing from 6+, teen to adult. Our step by step methods guide students from beginner onwards.

Using our custom patterns & sewing packs, students create on trend clothes, repairs & alterations. We offer a range of classes and workshops in fashion, design, styling and illustration for children, teenagers and adults in Brighton and London. We also host fashion shows, extra-curricular trips and birthday parties for your fashionistas!

Friday afternoon critique with our Year 7+ students from Latymer Upper School. We absolutely love the results of this project – such creativity, individuality and fantastic craftsmanship! ✨

A huge well done to our hardworking and inspiring tutors Jodie, Tiana and Elena for guiding everyone throughout, and a heartfelt thank you to the fantastic staff and, of course, the amazing students at Latymer Upper School. It has been such a pleasure working with you all.

Schiaparelli at the V&A… and then straight back to The Fashion School! ✨

On Monday we visited the visually enriching Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition, before walking just around the corner to our lovely air-conditioned studio. (Needed this week for sure. ) Now that’s local!

Over 4 inspiring days, our schoolkids deconstructed old jackets and transformed them into bold, wearable works of art, embellishing them with gilded wire, studs, buttons, hand embroidery, paint and appliqué.

What an inspiring subject, the school is great and so are their girls, this is part of their school enrichment week. What a privilege it is for my team of .esparon .leshc and I to spend a few days encouraging young people to think differently, experiment fearlessly and discover their own creative voice.

✨ The Fashion School Parties ✨
Our parties are a little different from our workshops and classes. They’re all about creativity, fun, laughter and making wonderful memories with friends. 🩷
We keep projects achievable within the time booked, so every child leaves feeling proud of what they’ve made. Parents are welcome to decorate the room, bring cake, snacks and party bags, and make the space their own for the celebration.
As a sustainable fashion school, our fabrics come from generous donations, so every party is unique and inspired by the materials available. We may not be a fabric shop, but we’ll always do our very best to create a party your child will absolutely love.
Creative fun, new skills, happy memories and a little bit of fashion magic. ✂️✨🎂

Anyone remember Tiger Feet by Mud? A blast from 1974 and I remember dancing to it with my mates when I was a school girl.
