Calling all Baby Scientists!

Birkbeck Babylab & Toddlerlab conduct studies in their state-of-the-art labs, which are designed to be welcoming for families with changing facilities and play areas for children.

It is free and easy and involves no commitment – it simply means they have the ability to contact parents when their baby or child matches the age group of one our studies. They will then invite you to take part and hope you say yes! They refund travel costs and all babies/children who take part receive a certificate and gift. Our research covers a variety of topics, including socialisation, attention, sleep patterns and screen time, as well as specific studies on virtual reality and ADHD.

We care deeply about families and infants, enriching their lives through music and movement to support their development, so we were really interested to hear from Vania Mirza, a third year psychology student at UCL, who is studying Language development in infants for her dissertation!

She is looking for families to take part, and they will receive compensation for their time. The key points of the study are:

Family-friendly: Interviews are scheduled flexibly to accommodate parents’ availability and will take place in the Infant-Child lab at UCL, in the heart of London.
Confidentiality: All information shared is confidential and will be used solely for research purposes.
Voluntary Participation: Families can choose to participate at their own convenience and will be compensated accordingly.

Movers and Shakers | Baby & Toddler Classes | Happity Movers and Shakers are 30-minute music and movement sessions for 0s to 3s. Our parent-present classes introduce the very young to rhymes, songs and signs. Every child taking part has the chance to sing, play a musical instrument, be amazed by the parachute and get lost in a world of bubbles! Sit wit...

We'd love to see you Snug Art Cafe - we're there every Tuesday at 10am, and we are currently exploring the JUNGLE with lots of songs about lions, monkeys, parrots, spiders and more! 🐊🐒🕷

We LOVE our weekly sessions at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Muswell Hill - and the kids and staff have a great time too :)

It's such a lovely setting and we see many great activities taking place as we walk through.
