I've decided to bake on Saturday despite Old Isleworth Market not happening. I have some bakes available to order on my website. Plus the following:

Muesli Sourdough - coconut, apricot, orange and seeds in a sourdough

Pan Marino - rosemary and salt sourdough

Fig , brown sugar and heritage wheat cake

Bakes will be available for collection from 10-12 Saturday from the Bread Shed at my home Dawes Avenue.

A little time away has served me very well.
I've enjoyed lots of lush food just about everywhere, and lots of great family time:
Ice creams from Caister beach
Sourdough, bagels and gorgeous custard tarts John Spillings
Pavlovas (yes that's 4 there but we were a big group, honest!)
just being cute
All set for a magnificent Sri Lanka 40th birthday party banquet
Fish at the harbour Southwold with my big brother and fish and chips at Aldeburgh - thanks for recommending Sarah Dietz

Calling all Bakers and wanna be bakers in Isleworth!

If you are interested in learning to bake bread from scratch using simple organic ingredients in a small but friendly setting consider a Daly Bread class. I have added new dates for all courses up to March 2027 in the following:
Introduction to Breadmaking,
Sourdough Simplified,
Chocolate Bakes and
Christmas Baking.
All are suitable for beginners and make great gifts.

For those who already have some baking experience join me for a Let's Bake session where you can make and bake your own doughs. Batch bake your own loaves, use my professional ROFCO oven for amazing oven spring. Let's bake sessions are great for fine tuning your baking skills and I will be on hand to guide you - and offer a hot drink and encouragement where needed!

Good news, I am baking over the summer, just a little less often than weekly bakes.

Collection will be from midday - 1pm and then the collection box at my home on Dawes Avenue after this time.

Guinness and black treacle soda bread will be tomorrow.

Rich, dark, soft and almost cake-like without a tonne of sugar.

Hopefully the lady who requests this bake each month will be there tomorrow...I forgot to take your name.
Anyway I will have a few. And it's a delicious bread - thinly sliced with butter and cheese.
