๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ฃ๐๐?
Ramadan often turns into a performance cycle.
We set targets, divide pages with precision, compete quietly, and measure success by how many times we โcompletedโ the Qurโan.
But here is a deeper question:
Did you complete the Qurโan, or did the Qurโan complete something in you?
The Qurโan was not revealed as a task to be checked off. It was revealed as guidance, correction, comfort, confrontation, and transformation.
When we reduce it to a reading quota, we shift it from being a message to being a metric.
There is a fundamental difference between:
โข Reading to finish
โข Reading to be addressed
The Qurโan consistently speaks in the second person. It does not say, โPeople once upon a time didโฆโ It says, โO you who believeโฆโ
That form is not historical. It is immediate. It is direct. It is personal.
If you approach it as a historical text, you will extract information.
If you approach it as a living address, you will experience transformation.
Information changes what you know.
Address changes who you are.
This Ramadan, before you open the mushaf, adjust one thing:
Instead of asking, โHow much will I read?โ
Ask, โWhat is Allah saying to me right now?โ
That shift alone can turn recitation into reception.
