The countdown to the World Cup is on, and we’re excited to be bringing a little football fever to Amelia House Nursery!

For just £10 per ticket, you’ll be randomly allocated one of the 48 participating countries, with the chance to win some fantastic prizes while also supporting an incredible cause.

💚 £5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Reading in the Baby Room 📚✨
The babies engaged in early reading experiences through shared stories and familiar language alongside practitioners.

These experiences support early communication and language development, while encouraging curiosity, concentration, and interaction through meaningful one-to-one engagement.

Through regular reading experiences, babies begin to build understanding of language, recognise familiar sounds and words, and develop confidence within a calm and nurturing environment 🤍

Meet the Deputy Manager: Cassie 🌸

Cassie joined the Amelia House team in December 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience working in childcare and a Montessori-trained approach to supporting children’s development.

She is passionate about creating a calm, nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace through meaningful experiences.

As both an educator and parent within the nursery community, Cassie values the importance of building positive relationships and supporting each child’s individual journey 🌷
