We are very proud of Elizabeth, who was presented with her trophy by the Mayor of Sutton after winning the Junior Recital Cup at the 90th Sutton Music Festival.
The children were busy in Cosy Club this lunchtime, making paper chains to decorate the school (and themselves!)
Our Christmas doors are looking amazing!
Huge thank you to everyone who donated their unwanted foreign currency to Mary's Meals. Bob, from the charity, came to collect your donations today and was very impressed with the amount we collected.
Fuchsia class started off our class assemblies with a performance based on their learning in science lessons. Great acting and wonderful singing, perfectly accompanied by Elizabeth on piano. Well done, Fuchsia class!
The NFL kindly sent Frith Manor 3 boxes full of Tennessee Titans flags to distribute to pupils in order to further embed their links to both the NFL, NFL UK and also the Tennessee Titans. Key Stage Two had great fun waving their flags at break time and Key Stage 1 have already been enjoying their flags after receiving them last week. Frith Manor is now very much a Tennessee Titans School!
Anti-Bullying Week. Following class discussions, Amber class have introduced a kindness jar. A child can take a card out of the jar and work on a little act of kindness in the day. Amber class are loving this!

Reception children, parents and grandparents took part in a clay-a-thon this morning and created these collaborative sculptures in response to nature and the senses.
Our school councillors are all dressed up for Halloween and ready for their visit to Aarandale care home.
Our first “solo spot” to kick off this morning’s assembly, with a year 6 pupil playing “Weeping Willow” on violin. A lovely start to this half term.
Fresh from conquering America, The Barricade Boys brought the party back to West End home on Tuesday 17 October. Lizzie, Melissa, Panah and Denise from Sunshine class had an opportunity to join this exciting musical theatre group on stage at Adelphi Theatre through their Stage Coach school. Amazing 🤩

5 students from Frith Manor, all of whom are on the schools NFL Flag Team, were given the great honour of being asked to be part of the Guard of Honour for the Tennessee Titans as they played against the Baltimore Ravens at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Thank you to Frith Manor Primary School and PTA for allowing us to host our meadows demo. We ended up turning a 75sqm grass area into a meadow! It was a lovely day and we were accompanied by 40 members of the public.

Day 1 of our year 5 screen printing workshop with designer Helen Rawlinson. The children's work is inspired by this year's Big Draw theme linked to the 'senses'. We are so excited that the final banner will be exhibited at Arts Depot in North Finchley!
Julia Huang, MA Art Education student at UCL led a Chinese calligraphy workshop for Widening Horizons. Julia taught the children about artist Xu Bing and they learnt about cross cultural links between China and the UK and how this can be expressed through art and language.
