We’re back with more unforgettable moments from our end-of-year production of West Side Story! From powerful performances to incredible choreography, music and everything happening behind the scenes, Act 2 was every bit as spectacular.

What an incredible two weeks it was as we brought one of the greatest musicals ever written to the stage. We couldn’t be prouder of our cast, orchestra and everyone behind the scenes who made this unforgettable production possible.

Congratulations to our 24 Lower Sixth students who successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Expedition!

After months of dedication to their volunteering, physical and skills sections, they took on a challenging three-day expedition in the South Downs, walking almost 20km each day in extreme heat. Their resilience, teamwork and determination were outstanding.

Well done to everyone on this fantastic achievement!

To round off the term, we joined together for the annual CVMS Summer Fête!

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with fun and community spirit, all while raising vital funds to support our school.

A special thank you to Alex Yates for all her hard work in making the day such a success, and to everyone who volunteered, donated and supported the event.

Finally, a huge thank you to Läderach for their generous chocolate donation, which made our Chocolate Tombola even sweeter!

As we look back on another fantastic school year, Activities Week was the perfect way to finish it.

Students stepped outside the classroom to challenge themselves, try something new and make lasting memories. With activities ranging from rock climbing and kayaking to tackling an obstacle course and taking on the 'Death Slide', there was something for everyone. It was a week filled with adventure and teamwork.

What a brilliant way to end the year!

Earlier this week, our Japan trip returned home after an unforgettable Activities Week adventure!

Forty Second and Upper Sixth students travelled to Tokyo for an incredible opportunity to experience Japanese culture, innovation and technology first-hand.

From exploring the JAXA Space Centre and playing HADO (VR Dodgeball) to visiting Daito Bunka University Dai-ichi High School, enjoying Tokyo Disneyland and so much more, it was a trip packed with unforgettable experiences and lasting memories.

A huge thank you to all of the staff for their support, guidance and supervision throughout the visit.

As we reach the end of another fantastic academic year, we'd like to say a huge thank you to every member of the Cardinal Vaughan community.

To our pupils for your hard work, talent and enthusiasm. To our dedicated staff for your unwavering commitment. To our parents and families for your continued support. To the Vaughan Parents' Association (VPA), governors, alumni and everyone who contributes to school life, thank you for making this such a special community.

From outstanding achievements in the classroom to performances, sporting successes, trips, celebrations and everything in between, it's been a year to remember.

We hope you all have a wonderful, well-deserved summer holiday. Take time to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September for another exciting year at Cardinal Vaughan.

Important update: Due to the football, Wednesday 15 July's performance of West Side Story will now begin at 6.00pm and finish at approximately 8.20pm.

Monday and Tuesday's performances will still begin at 7.00pm as planned.
