It’s been a busy term for Vaughan geographers, taking their learning beyond the classroom and into the field.
From exploring the lived environment in Kensington and Chelsea and assessing the legacy of the 2012 Olympics in Stratford, to studying coastal management in Somerset and investigating river processes along the River Pang, students have been putting their geographical skills into practice.

This Friday, we’ll be celebrating the many cultures that make up our Cardinal Vaughan community.
Students are invited to wear clothing that reflects their culture and enjoy food from around the world, all while raising money for Aid to the Church in Need.
As we look forward to this year's celebrations, here's a throwback to some highlights from Culture Day 2025.

During half-term, four of our Lower Sixth History students attended a special Women of the Year Alumnae Network event, where they heard from Holocaust survivor Mala Tribich in conversation with historian and filmmaker Bea Lewkowicz.
A powerful and moving experience, giving students the opportunity to hear first-hand testimony and reflect on the importance of Holocaust remembrance.

Our Second Form pupils were honoured to welcome Hephzibah Rudofsky, daughter of a Holocaust survivor, who shared her family’s experiences of persecution and survival during the Holocaust.
The boys listened attentively, engaged with artefacts from her story, and asked such thoughtful questions that the Q&A session lasted almost an hour. Hephzibah said she had never experienced such an engaged and insightful group.
We are incredibly grateful to Hephzibah for sharing her family’s story and helping bring this important period of history to life.
