📣🎉 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎉📣

Today, we are celebrating the achievements of our incredible Year 11 students and recognising the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at Trinity Academy.

The proportion of students achieving both a standard pass (Grade 4+) and a strong pass (Grade 5+) in English and Maths has increased. There have been particularly strong improvements in English, Maths and across our EBacc subjects, reflecting the dedication of our students and staff alike.

🎓 Celebrating our Year 13 success!

We are incredibly proud of our Trinity Academy students following the publication of this year’s A-level results.

Our students are heading to universities across the UK to study a fantastic range of subjects, including Neuroscience and Psychology, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Criminology and Psychology, Accounting and Finance, and Law with Politics.

🌟 Sabah is heading to King’s College London to study Neuroscience and Psychology after achieving A* grades in Sociology and Psychology.

🌟 Francisco will also be heading to King’s College London to study Mathematics after achieving an A* in Mathematics and an A in Further Mathematics.

🌟 Bruna is off to Royal Holloway, University of London to study Criminology and Psychology with a Year in Industry.

🌟 Martin will study Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London.

🌟 Daniel will study Accounting and Finance at the University of Reading.

🌟 Eoin will study Law with Politics at Queen’s University Belfast.

🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️ A fantastic day at the Future Academies Trust Athletics Competition! 🏅

Congratulations to all of our athletes who represented Trinity Academy with determination, resilience and pride throughout the day.

We’re incredibly proud to have finished 5th overall across all competing schools – improving on last year’s result by climbing one place! 👏📈

Special congratulations to our medal winners:
🥇 Khari – Gold in the Year 7 Boys’ 300m
🥇 Azaia – Gold in the Year 7 Boys’ 200m
🥈 Maleeq – Silver in Shot Put
🥉 Matthew – Bronze in Hurdles
🥉 Year 8 & 9 Girls’ Shot Put – Bronze

A special mention also goes to Jewel, who broke the Year 7 Girls’ 100m competition record with an outstanding performance – an incredible achievement! ⚡👏

Every student who competed embodied our Trinity values of Knowledge, Aspiration and Respect, encouraging one another, showing exceptional sportsmanship and giving their all in every event.

On Wednesday 24th June 2026, we had the privilege of taking five outstanding students from Years 9, 10 and 12 the Houses of Parliament to celebrate their achievements in the Future Scholars programme this year. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to be recognised for their hard work, commitment and ambition throughout the year.

A highlight of the evening was meeting Lord Nash, who joined in celebrating the student's successes and the impact of the programme. We are incredibly proud of all that they have achieved and look forward to seeing what they accomplish next!

☀️ Important Hot Weather Update – Trinity Academy ☀️
With warmer temperatures expected this week, we would like to remind all students and families of the importance of staying safe in the heat and taking simple precautions is essential.
We are asking students to:

💧 Bring a water bottle and stay well hydrated throughout the day
🧴 Apply sunscreen before attending school
🧢 Take opportunities to stay out of direct sunlight where possible

We will also continue to support students in school by encouraging regular hydration and access to shaded areas.
We would ask parents/carers to support this by ensuring students come prepared for the weather each day.
📅 Please note: Wednesday is an INSET day, so students will not be in school on the hottest day currently forecast.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep all students safe and well during the hot weather.

Our Year 10 students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit the Under Armour Fitness Suite, where they took part in a series of professional fitness tests to measure their strength, endurance, and overall performance.
Using high-quality equipment and expert guidance, students gained valuable insights into their own physical fitness while learning how athletes train and monitor progress. From testing stamina to pushing personal limits, the session was both challenging and inspiring.
This experience brought our values to life:
📚 Knowledge – understanding how fitness, health, and data link together
🚀 Aspiration – pushing boundaries and striving to improve personal performance
🤝 Respect – supporting and encouraging one another throughout the session

✨ First Give Lunchtime Event – Year 9 Making a Difference! ✨

This week, Trinity Academy’s Year 9 students proudly hosted their very first First Give lunchtime charity event – and what an incredible success it was! Students from tutor groups Nalanda, Celsius, Pergamon, Timbuktu, and Alexandria led engaging quizzes, competitions, and awareness activities to support a range of powerful charities:

🤍 Manna Society ()

Throughout the event, students shared powerful messages about mental health, youth violence, reducing crime, and tackling homelessness. Their creativity and confidence shone as they educated peers, encouraged participation, and raised both awareness and funds for these important causes.

This event truly brought Trinity Academy’s values to life: 📚 Knowledge – learning about real-world issues affecting our communities 🚀 Aspiration – taking initiative to create meaningful change 🤝 Respect – showing compassion and understanding for others We are so proud of Year 9 for their passion, teamwork, and leadership.

We were delighted to host our Trinity Academy Bake Off, welcoming students from local primary schools across the Brixton community.
Using our fully equipped food technology room, students had the chance to develop their skills and showcase their creativity. The results were fantastic, with beautifully presented bakes that reflected real care and effort.
Events like this highlight what Trinity Academy stands for — knowledge, aspiration and respect. We are proud to provide opportunities that build confidence, inspire young people and bring our local community together.
