🎉 What a fantastic celebration of creativity, resilience and community.

At this year's *Just My Type* exhibition, we proudly presented the first-ever BA (Hons) Graphic Design Course Director's Awards, recognising the qualities that help students thrive—not just academically, but as future designers and creative professionals.

From leadership and professionalism to curiosity, resilience and generosity, these awards celebrated the people who helped make our Graphic Design community so special.

We also recognised our Weekly Workout champions, whose dedication to weekly creative challenges proved the value of showing up, experimenting and growing every week.

A huge congratulations to all of our award winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who made this year's exhibition such a memorable celebration of creativity.

✨ LCCA x Oh Polly Fashion Students Collaboration 2026 ✨

We’re excited to continue our partnership with Oh Polly on this year’s live fashion brief.

Our BA Fashion Design students were challenged to transform returned and deadstock garments into innovative new designs, exploring sustainability, circular fashion, and future trend directions.

Through experimentation, research, and creative development, students pushed their ideas further — rethinking how fashion can be designed with responsibility and innovation at its core.

We are so proud of the talent, creativity, and dedication shown throughout the project. 💫

LCCA is proud to be returning to Graduate Fashion Week 2026, one of the UK's leading events for emerging fashion talent.

From 15–18 June at Truman Brewery, London, our students will be showcasing their creativity, innovation and technical expertise alongside graduates from institutions across the UK and beyond.

This year, we're especially excited to celebrate:
• Deanne Melody Forbes, whose work will feature in the event's entrance exhibition
• Cristian Orosa, selected for Talent of Tomorrow in collaboration with Cold Magazine
• Gayla Nedeva, shortlisted for both the Fashion Portfolio Award and Pattern Cutting Award
• Khaos Rose Blakk, shortlisted for the Hillary Alexander Sustainable Trailblazer Award and presenting their Doomsday collection on the Collective Runway

✨ COALESCE: Final Major Project Exhibition ✨

Join us at The Amp, London for an evening celebrating the final work of our graduating students as part of this year’s Coalesce exhibition.

Across experimental fashion, digital media, visual communication, moving image and more, students respond to the theme “Coalesce” — bringing together ideas, disciplines and creative processes to produce bold, innovative final outcomes.

This exhibition showcases not only finished work, but the thinking, collaboration and experimentation behind it — reflecting creative journeys shaped by growth, risk-taking and exploration.

Come experience the work, meet the creators, and celebrate a new generation of emerging talent. Expect inspiring conversations, creative energy, and a vibrant evening of ideas.

As Career Development Week 2026 comes to a close, we would like to reflect on what has been an inspiring and impactful week for our students and wider LCCA community.

Across seven days, students engaged with an exceptional range of industry professionals through masterclasses, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Covering sectors including fashion, gaming, business, graphic design, hospitality, travel, entrepreneurship and recruitment, the programme provided valuable real-world insights and practical career guidance.

Career Development Week reflects LCCA's commitment to connecting education with industry and ensuring students have access to the knowledge, networks and opportunities that support their professional growth.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our guest speakers, industry partners and colleagues who helped make this year's programme possible. Your expertise, generosity and commitment to supporting emerging talent have made a lasting impact on our students.

We are also incredibly proud of our students for their participation and engagement throughout the week, and we look forward to seeing the positive outcomes these experiences will create in the future.

Join us for the LCCA Fashion Media and Promotion Graduate Showcase at The Amp on Tuesday 9 June, from 4pm–8pm.

After three years of exploring their identities as creatives and discovering how purpose can shape meaningful work, our graduates are presenting their final Creative Direction projects alongside a collection of purpose-driven media shoots, articles and films.

This showcase celebrates more than creative talent. It highlights the values, stories and ambitions that drive each student to create work with impact, challenge perspectives and inspire change.

Come along to experience the work, meet our incredible graduates, enjoy drinks and nibbles, and connect with fellow students, staff, friends and family.

This special fashion exhibition by LCCA's The Yarn Together Club celebrated the power of crochet and creativity in promoting mindfulness and personal wellbeing. Featuring a beautiful collection of handcrafted artifacts, the exhibition explored how crocheting can help create calm, focus, and meaningful moments of self-care.

We loved sharing this experience with our community and hope it inspired others to see creativity as a positive tool for wellbeing. 💛
