Let's be prepared for the cold seasons!
Please make sure you children come to Precious Jewels with appropriate clothing such as waterproof or rain jacket, wellies boots, a full change, socks, spare shoes, nappies and/or underwear.

Please DO NOT use pull ups (unless agreed with the practitioners) and onesies as it makes delays in the routine and can disrupt the kids learning.
Also, NO personal toys: they will be shared with other kids and can get damaged or lost. We have plenty of toys and and different activities for the kids to enjoy.

A checklist of what kids should bring in their bags can be seen in this post. It' a guideline and will change depending on the season and personal circumstances.

SPRING/SUMMER CHECKLIST:
Dear parents and guardians,

the warm weather has arrived....and gone already!

While we are waiting for the hot days to come back, let's prepare ourselves in advance.

Here is our Spring & Summer checklist the children will need in their bag to enjoy their time at the nursery in safety and comfort.

It's a guideline and can change depending on the child's needs.

Please pack few spare fresh clothes, a summer hat and a SUN CREAM with high sun protection factor (SPF).

Also remember to LABEL all your children's clothes and sun cream bottle.

A spare clogs sandals (Crocs style) would be great, as children will spend more time outside in the garden playing with water and sand.

Please do not send your kids in with flip flops or slippers as they may cause the children to trip or fall easier.

Welcome back to the last weeks of the school year!
We hope you had a great break and are ready for another busy half term full of exciting activities!
Sports day and Graduation day are some of the big dates we will hold at Precious Jewels! (dates to be confirmed soon).

NURSERY CLOSURE:

2nd May – Elections:
please note that the nursery will be closed on Thursday 2nd May to be a polling station.

6th May:
Monday Bank holiday.

27th to 31st May:
The nursery will be closed
from Monday 27th until Friday 31st May
for half term.

3rd June - Inset day:
The nursery will be closed on
Monday 3rd June for training.
