HELLO ALL, this sunday 20th of may at the salisbury we have .......
THE TOM TAYLOR QUINTET
Having originally started life as a trio, this quintet plays original music with a strong emphasis on improvisation. All the musicians met at music college and have been playing together, in various guises, for many years. This exact line-up, however, is only a relatively recent formation. As a trio the rhythm section have enjoyed performance highlights including a Radio 3 broadcast for Jazz Line-up. For this gig they will be performing a suite of music written by Tom Taylor based on the novel Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie.
