🌌 From sci-fi fan to real-life galaxy hunter!

Meet Daniel Pakula. He is a Master’s physics student at Tel Aviv University. He is officially rewriting what we see in the cosmos.

Inspired by films like Interstellar, Daniel knocked on faculty doors early in his studies to get into active research. Now, he uses the ultra-sensitive Dragonfly telescope to map the universe.

The breakthrough?
Daniel built an automated galaxy-detection system. It is already spotting hidden, faint dwarf galaxies. Major global surveys completely missed them before.

Exciting new findings from TAU’s Department of Archaeology reveal that when giant prehistoric animals disappeared, early humans were forced to ditch their heavy stone handaxes for smaller, more precise tools to hunt smaller prey.

While the Academy is based in the States, this rare election is a massive nod from the global scientific community. It places TAU’s groundbreaking medical research firmly on the world stage. 🌍

Prof. Berman’s vital work uncovers how deadly fungal pathogens adapt to resist life-saving drugs—a global healthcare challenge that impacts us all. 🧫🧬

She is only the sixth TAU researcher to achieve this prestigious honour in the last 50 years.

A groundbreaking new study led by Tel Aviv University reveals that our bodies are evolutionarily wired to conserve energy. When you work out more, your body adapts to save fuel elsewhere—even slightly shrinking energy-consuming organs like the liver and kidneys!

The good news? Participants still lost fat, gained muscle, and drastically boosted their health.

TAU-launched startup Remilk is reimagining dairy forever. Co-founded by TAU alumnus Dr. Ori Cohavi and Aviv Wolff, they produce real milk proteins in a lab—completely bypassing the cow.

The Product: Real milk taste, zero lactose, and kosher pareve.

The Impact: A fraction of the environmental and industrial cost.

The Roots: Born in the JumpTAU accelerator program at TAU’s Entrepreneurship Center.
