Fabulous afternoon with and Delusions of Grandeur is a fabulous exhibition inciting a new take on the fabulous collection at The Wallace. Always love Grayson Perry in a museum collection. Artists in museum collections is by far and away my favourite way to view a collection!

A beautiful collection of plates and bowls from this terms After School Pottery club.
This is a mixed group of beginner potters and some that have been with me for over 2 years.
The work includes pinch-potting, slab building using moulds and some finishing using the wheel (when supervision allows).
They have decorated using a slip base layer and under glaze finishing with a transparent glaze on top.
The children do everything in my classes from preparing their clay to dipping in glaze….even the washing up!😜
There is always a mixture of directed tasks, skills teaching, free play and experimentation.
Please contact me if you would like to join a class in the summer term.
