School.CO2lutions “School CO2lutions” a programme that engages pupils in a unique range of events and learning opportunities to educate and inspire.

School CO2lutions” a programme that engages pupils in a unique range of events and learning opportunities to educate them how they can reduce their carbon footprint and set an example to both older and younger generations with regards to building a greener, leaner an healthier future for everyone. This will include a range of initiatives from ‘Dragons Den’ style projects to practical experiments harnessing the power of solar energy; finishing in March with our finale Low Carbon Day event: a competition that will spread further than just our target 12 schools across the three boroughs, but into the rest of the community, ensuing a Wokingham vs Bracknell vs Reading energy reduction challenge that will be monitored by an energy provider. The school across the three boroughs with the greatest reduction will be crowned and certified as our Green Champion, as well as awards for outstanding contributions from individual pupils!
