This isn’t just a project —
it’s your chance to design, prototype, and showcase your own hardware idea.

How it works
• Open to individuals or teams (2–4 recommended)
• Applications open monthly (March: 23–27)
• Open to all levels — beginners welcome
• Must include a hardware component

What we’re looking for
• A clear idea solving a real problem
• Strong technical thinking & ex*****on
• Product mindset (cost, feasibility, scalability)
• A working prototype by completion

💷 Funding starting from £50 (expandable)

🎛️ SYNTH WORKSHOP 🎶
Ever wondered how synthesisers work or how Eurorack modules are designed? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of modular synthesis and even start designing your own module!

📅 Dates: 18th & 25th March
⏰ Time: 2–4 PM
📍 Location: EE Undergraduate Lab

❓What to expect

Session 1 – 18th March
🔹 Introduction to synthesisers
🔹 How Eurorack modules are designed
🔹 Designing a PCB for a Mixer module

Session 2 – 25th March
🔹 Finish the mixer module (if needed)
🔹 Explore different types of synthesis modules in more detail
🔹 Choose another module you’d like to design and start the design during the session

💻 Post-session submissions:
Help will be provided as needed after the sessions, and submission deadlines/details will be confirmed later.

Whether you’re curious about music tech, electronics, or PCB design, this workshop is a great way to explore how sound and circuits come together.

Ready to build something real this semester?

This is not just a project.
This is your opportunity to design, prototype, and showcase your own hardware product.

How it works
• Open to individuals or teams (2–4 recommended)
• Applications open one week every month
• Open to all levels — beginners welcome
• Projects must include a hardware component
