We look forward to welcoming our new year 7s tomorrow, Wednesday, for their first day as part of our St Claudine’s community! Parents, please note there is an important information meeting for you and your child between 2pm and 3pm.
Also tomorrow, if you are planning to join our sixth form and were not around on GCSE results day to enrol, you are invited to come between 10am and 11am to do so.
Then on Thursday we will see ALL of you back, ready to start a new school year. Breakfast club will be available from 8am.

Sports Day was a beautiful experience again this year. Our students with exceptional sports skills and our cheerleaders, were given the chance to shine in the sunshine! Everyone supported their Houses with great enthusiasm and gusto and the energy kept up all day. Huge congratulations to House Katharine for their first ever Sports Day win. Ms Ayadi is still processing the shock result.
Many thanks, as ever, to Willesden Sports Centre for hosting us and to Ms Anderson for the mammoth job of organising.

Activities week kicked off with a series of day trips: Year 7 to London Zoo, Year 8 to Tower of London, Year 9 to Hampstead Heath, Year 10 to the Design Museum and Year 12 to Richmond Park. Year 12s enjoyed their annual retreat to the Religious of Jesus and Mary convent in Felixstowe. The Sisters are always very welcoming and students enjoy the spirituality and calm of the visit, as well as the activities and, of course, the seaside! Year 9 students from Dr Patel's science class participated in a Matisse-inspired art competition as part of the 'green corridor' project to redevelop and enhance Church Path. Brent council and the local community selected twenty entries from our students. The concrete walls were then painted with their colourful, cheerful designs, transforming a public space and encouraging sustainable living and active travel in the community. The girls were then invited to the opening ceremony so they could see the finished work and how it has brightened our neighbourhood.
