Founded by local parents and professional artists, Basil Olton and Veronika Seifert, Highgate Art School offers adults and children classes in fine art painting, drawing and ceramics. Through their careers as artists and educators, working for clients such as The V&A, Tate Britain, South London Gallery and Camden Arts Centre, Basil has recently co-curated an exhibition at The V&A, they have a deep understanding of the benefits of the artistic process for the development of self esteem and confidence
Highgate Art School is a project and events space with a developing programme of artist-led projects and events.
Highgate Arts School are a project and events space and are committed to widening access and creating a foundation and basis for an introduction to contemporary arts practice, to engage with a diverse local community. For audiences the art school provides opportunities to experience this process of art production through participation and critical reflection.
