Theatre Street Performing Arts

Theatre Street Performing Arts Theatre Street Performing Arts was founded in 2001 by former dancer and choreographer Claire Pourret as a small community dance school.

⭐️TSPA provides outstanding dance & Musical Theatre training for Children ages 2-17yrs.
⭐️Award winning competition teams.
⭐️Saturday classes for preschool 2-3 yrs and ballet 4-5 yrs.
⭐️Fantastic Industry teachers.
⭐️Theatrical Agency. In the years since, TSPA has grown and flourished to become a thriving performing arts organisation, giving young people in south east London tuition, opportunities and experiences in dance, drama and singing. TSPA is a social enterprise company dedicated to enriching the lives of young people. We do not rely on grants and government support - we sustain ourselves by providing a top quality range of performing arts activities for young people at the most competitive prices we can. What your children do outside of school is important: for their well-being and development, and also for your bank balance and peace of mind. Our mission is to provide you with that peace of mind, and provide them with an amazing experience outside of school; we have never set out to be the cheapest around, because we believe in quality. What we believe in is value for money: being competitively priced and affordable yes, but above all we have learned that you want your children's experience with us to surpass the ordinary - to be something special. This is our mission every day, week and month of the year. We run dance classes in ballet, street, jazz, tap, lyrical, acro, pre-school and more; we run a Saturday Musical Theatre Academy that features dance, drama and singing; we run a Glee Choir and Elite Competition Teams, plus a full time day college for sixth form age students wishing to study performing arts more seriously as a potential career. We now receive over 400 visits per week from young people and we absolutely love what we do - we'd love the chance to welcome your children into the TSPA world. So please get in touch to arrange your visit to our Studios at The Link.

So proud of these two!!!

Our founder and Principal’s two daughters .pourret and both trained at Theatre Street Performing Arts from a very young age and were also both part of our TSDC competition team. They have both taught at the school and for the team whilst also continuing furthering their professional training and performing in the Industry!

Sophie has been busy since she graduated from the Urdang Academy
Performing credits include
42nd Street at the Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris, La Cage Aux Folles at the Regents Park open air theatre, Guys & Dolls at the Bridge Theatre London and most recently understudied and played Daisy in the Great Gatsby at the London Coliseum.

Sophie will be playing one of the plastics ‘Karen Smith’ in the UK and Ireland tour of Mean Girls which is so exciting!

Charlotte since graduating from D&B Academy has been teaching classes at Theatre Street and leading our competition team winning choreography awards! As a performer she performed in Goldilocks and the three bears last Christmas at the starring playing ‘Baby Bear’ with the leading pantomime company and she is back with them this year playing the same part at the

Mean girls will mark Charlotte’s professional debut in Musical Theatre and she is covering the roles of Karen Smith and Cady Heron along with being swing!

Charlotte’s presence at Theatre Street will be hugely missed but I know whenever she can get back to us she will be popping in :)

Wishing both girls a fantastic time in Mean Girls, it is quite rare for sisters to be in a show together and tour together, so we are absolutely thrilled for them and incredibly proud of their achievement!
