Al-Qiblah Ensemble

Al-Qiblah Ensemble Al-Qiblah was put together in 2010 as a weekly gathering of young Malaysian Muslims seeking knowledge of the Deen in the hearts of London.

Alhamdulillah, now our humble family has grown to become a melting pot of brothers and sisters of diverse backgrounds who come together to learn the Ilm of Fiqh, Akhlaq (character) and Adab (manners), recapping the Seerah (history) of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the sahabas (companions) and the other Prophets of Islam, recite the Qasidah, play the kompang (Malay drums), perform silat (Malay martial arts) and recently, touching the Ilm of Tajweed. These activities enable us to contribute to the needs of the community and served as a means of engaging with the society through Islamic teachings.

An exclusive event, for the first time ever, recorded in English, the excellent biography of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is delivered right from the Prophet’s Mosque, precisely from the spot between the pulpit and his blessed chamber, a place he described as a piece of the Garden in Paradise.
Dr. Ahmed Saifuddin eloquently narrated the history in an interesting manners, blending the longing for our beloved Prophet (PBUH) with the holiness of the Mosque. Watch all 30 episodes here:
