وَالْعَصْرِ

By the time through the ages! / By the declining day,

[Quran 103:1]

إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

Surely mankind is in loss, / Lo! man is in a state of loss,

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

except those who believe and do good deeds; exhort one another to the truth and exhort one another to patience. / Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.

help you with wealth and sons, and provide you with gardens and the flowing rivers.
