Piano and theory tuition The Blackheath Piano Studio is run by concert pianists Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis (Peter) Archontides.

Their long portfolio careers span teaching, performance, research and recording, with former teaching appointments including Artist Teacher posts at the American College of Greece and professorial positions at the National Conservatoire in Greece. Natalie and Peter perform as soloists and as the Ivory Duo Piano Ensemble, and are co-Artistic Directors of the PianoPlus International Recital Series in Orpington. Their studio has supported talented young musicians in Greece and the UK for many years. Former students have progressed to Cambridge and Oxford Universities, the Royal College of Music, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Guildhall School of Music, and have gone on to receive Steinway Scholarship recognition, composition awards, conservatoire teaching appointments, and international creative opportunities across classical and contemporary music. Selected former students include Alex Lau, Conor Murphy, Kostas Papazafeiropoulos, Lia Hide, Elena Pavlea, Leonardo Kelly-Salazar, Carlotta Allen-Seadon, and Steinway Scholars from Bromley High School.

Congratulations to Carlotta Allen-Seadon (student of Natalie Tsaldarakis) for getting wonderful marks on her A levels, including A in Music with full marks for both composition and performance!

From September she’ll be studying at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Piano Department in the class of esteemed pianist and pedagogue Robert Markham.
