If I had to choose between people or trees, it would usually be the latter.. 🌲🌳🙄
This year has been pretty up and down, and making the decision to take a break from for a while has sadly meant sales have dropped = less trees planted 🌲
Then something AWESOME happened!
My amazing friend set up an incredible non Profit called .co.uk Which aims to plant as many trees as possible to give back to the planet.
Come and join the main event!:
Join me and some awesome other teachers for 108 Sun Salutations. All funds will go towards planting trees!
🧘‍♀️
If 108 salutations seems a bit excessive, join for what you can, or just donate for trees!

📅 Saturday 19-22nd December 2020

⏰ from 9:00am GMT

📍 live-streamed from .co.uk - link will be sent to you when you buy ticket 🎫

Bought myself some new boots 🥾. Walking boots. And they’re teaching me a lot.
I’ve been walking a lot, and with each new Step they blister me, and it hurts, and I think about putting on some old trainers...
but I can’t climb Mountains in trainers... so I carry on in the boots...Take breaks and tend the wounds when it gets to much, then keep walking when I feel ready.
Over time the sores heal and left in their place is stronger skin than before, and the boots begin to shape around me with more ease...
If you can mould your new boots, you can mould your mind, your yoga practice, your world. It may take effort, pain, and... longer than you thought, but you grow on the journey...And you’ll remember all the things you saw on your travels more than the pain in your shoes.
.

Teaching some more yoga thiseve online... narrowing it down slowly, however I think these two classes will be here to stay for a while...:
6:15pm 75min power flow
8:30pm 45min nurturing flow
Both classes are on Zoom. If you need a login link, drop me a message 😘

It’s crazy it takes a pandemic for me to remember to look around and enjoy spring and summer unfolding before my eyes. To take in the smells, appreciate the beauty...
I used to live in the woods, talk to the birds and the bees, follow animal tracks to the stream and make hideouts in the fallen trees with barricades of branches and mud...Oh how things have changed.
I hope the rest of the world slows down a little too. Appreciates what nature presents us, that we so gladly take from.
This wood is no longer here, although new trees have been planted, they will take time to grow. And as things come and go, ebb and flow, we need to remember to give back to what we take from. Otherwise nature, people, earth, becomes ill, desolate and ruined. Nature has a cycle, and we’re part of it too... lest we forget.
