Sylvia and her support staff are caring and calm in their approach and methods, whilst maintaining a fun and friendly environment. My two boys settled in exceptionally quickly with Sylvia. As a parent I warmed to Sylvia from the start and feel that I have absolute trust in her when she is looking after my boys. It is evident that my boys have formed a very strong attachment with Sylvia.
The setting is always spotlessly clean and there is the garden room which is a fabulous place for the children to play. Sylvia lays on a great range of after school activities for the kids, but also recognises that sometimes they just want to relax and maybe not do much at all. Sylvia will take the children out, where possible, for example to her allotment, which they clearly enjoy. In the school holidays Sylvia arranges for a great variety of days out incorporating educational trips also. Sylvia has the perfect balance of warmth and discipline when she interacts with the children. I only have good words to say about Sylvia, Amelia and her setting and would more than happily recommend her to anyone!

I have been really pleased with Sylvia’s setting & childminding service. She treats my kids as her own, they have really grown & flourished in the time they have been there. She encourages their development & learning through play. She makes good use of the space she has including the garden, so the kids can enjoy the different environments.

Our children love attending Sylvia’s Little Ones both as wrap around care during term time and during school holidays. They have developed strong relationships the adults in the setting as well as with the other children. They have particularly enjoyed visiting the allotment and the food tasting sessions Sylvia holds from time to time. The setting is secure, comfortable and happy and we love the support the children receive with literacy and maths alongside arts and other projects.

Excellent service and provision. Sylvia provides a stimulating, safe environment with a rich provision for children of all ages. The setting is well adapted to suit the needs for the youngest to the eldest. I would not hesitate to recommend Sylvia's Little Ones to any parent.

A great childminder. Lots of patience with my toddler who had been unsettled at a few nursery settings in the area.

She has lots of outdoor space and a good range of learning activities.

Sylvia's Little Ones is able to give the 1:1 support and nurture children need to gain confidence in the bigger world.
