A good home-school partnership is more effective at building long-term digital resilience than a social media ban alone…
It’s easy to look for solutions in platforms, settings and restrictions.
Yet one of the strongest protective factors for any child is a positive partnership between home and school. Research proves that.
Interestingly, when we spoke to pupils, they told us they want their parents to ask how things are going at school, support their learning and attend school events.
🔎 Pupils told us that parental support affects how well they do at school.
Schools, parents and pupils all have a role to play.
When trust exists between all three, conversations become easier, concerns are spotted earlier and young people feel more supported.

The UK’s social media ban for under-16s is the nation’s conversation. One of our first questions is:
📌 How will the ban affect the relationships between schools, parents and pupils?
The debate is understandably focused on technology.
But perhaps the bigger question is about relationships.
No policy can replace the value of trusted relationships between schools, parents and pupils.
Young people need adults who listen, guide, challenge and support them as they navigate an increasingly complex world.
✅ Technology matters.
💯 Trusted relationships matter more.
Get in touch if you have any questions on how to engage your school and support parents in this upcoming change, or want to share first impressions regarding the ban.

You don’t need more parent communication.
You need a system that actually works.
Most schools are:
• reacting instead of planning
• repeating the same messages
• dealing with the same frustrations
The Four Pillars Masterclass is designed to fix that... properly.
Across two live sessions, you’ll:
→ step back from day-to-day firefighting
→ identify what’s actually causing friction
→ build a clear, sustainable parental engagement approach
No fluff. Just practical frameworks you can apply straight away.
📅 Starts 12 May (2 sessions)
🎓 Designed for Headteachers & senior leaders

What does good parental engagement actually look like? 👇
Not more emails.
Not more reminders.
Not more noise.
According to the Schools White Paper, it comes down to 3 things:
✔️ clarity
✔️ consistency
✔️ partnership
And when schools get this right, everything shifts:
• fewer repeated questions
• calmer communication
• more engaged families
Simple - but not accidental.
If you want to build this properly across your school:

Parental engagement shouldn’t feel like constant firefighting.
But for many schools… it does.
With expectations changing (and pressure increasing), the real question is:
How do you build something that actually works long-term?
Our Four Pillars Masterclass (May) is designed to help you do exactly that 👇
✔️ Get clear on what effective parental engagement really looks like
✔️ Identify what’s working (and what isn’t) in your school
✔️ Build a simple, shared approach across your team
✔️ Start creating a long-term plan - not just reacting term by term
Delivered across 2 live sessions, with practical tasks in between - so you’re not just learning, you’re applying.
