FILM DIRECTOR BIO:
Francis wrote and directed the political-thriller ESCAPE FROM PRETORIA starring Daniel Radcliffe and Ian Hart. Well-received by critics and audiences for its edge-of-your-seat suspense, ESCAPE FROM PRETORIA was released theatrically to great success around the world.

He and Armando Iannucci were the joint first recipients of the DDA Spotlight Award at the 24th Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.

Currently in demand, Francis is working on several motion pictures, including ASHES TO OCEAN with Matt Jackson producing (Molly's Game; The Trial of the Chicago 7); NEITHER CONFIRM NOR DENY for ScottFree (House of Gucci, Napoleon) and New Sparta (The Killing of A Sacred Deer), from Dave Collard's 2020 Blacklist screenplay; a remake of THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO with Bear Grylls' The Natural Studios; and GOD'S SMUGGLER for Sony Pictures from the best-selling autobiography.

He is represented in the US by CAA and Lit Entertainment.
