🏁 Good luck to all the teams competing in the Grand Prix in Baku this weekend!

Our UCL Engineering team were in Baku last week and got to experience the exciting atmosphere ahead of race weekend.

Interested in Formula 1 and the engineering behind the sport? Our Mechanical Engineering department has its own racing initiative, giving students the opportunity to put their engineering skills into practice and get involved in motorsport.

Some consumer detection tools claim to identify hidden cameras, microphones or trackers through methods such as signal-strength readings, infrared lens detection and scanning for wifi or Bluetooth devices.

However, new research from UCL Computer Science found that many of these detection fail to adequately help users identify hidden surveillance devices, which can give domestic abuse victims a false sense of security.
