Happy St. Patricks Day ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

At nursery we celebrated with lots of creative and sensory fun ๐Ÿ’š

Our children explored bell pepper printing to create beautiful shamrocks using green paint and a sprinkle of glitter for that extra magic ๐Ÿ’ซ

We also enjoyed a themed St. Patrick Day tuff tray filled with Green, White and Orange rice to represent the Irish flag ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช. The children used bowls , spoons, funnels, tweezers, jewels and even magnifying glasses. Happy World Book Day ! ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’ซ

The children enjoyed creating their very own worm bookmarks ๐Ÿ› to take home. This fun activity supported letter recognition and gave them the chance to practice writing their names with a pen as well as using a glue stick to carefully stick down the letters they found to spell their names on their worms.

We also loved seeing everyone dressed up as their favourite book characters โ™ก - you all looked amazing ! The children had a wonderful time sharing their favourite stories from home with their friends and building a love for books๐ŸŒž

And the fun didn't stop there ... even our Teddy bears joined in , enjoying their own cosy reading time with their favourite books in our lovely story book corner .๐Ÿงธ๐Ÿ“–

We hope today has inspired a lifelong love of reading and storytelling ๐Ÿ’•
