🎭 From performing West Side Story to watching it from the audience…

Our CAPA Young Company are currently enjoying their Birmingham residential, and after being part of our own Pro-Show production of West Side Story, it was brilliant to give them the chance to see NYMT’s production too.

There was plenty to inspire them, but the epic tap version of “Gee, Officer Krupke” was definitely a standout moment! 👞🔥

It’s such a valuable experience for young performers to see another company tackle a show they’ve recently performed themselves, giving them the chance to compare, reflect and be inspired by different approaches to the same material.

Theatre, friends, new experiences and plenty of musical theatre chat along the way. Exactly what a CAPA residential should be! 🎭
