Alicja Mazur studiowala malarstwo w Akademii Sztuk Pieknych w Gdansku. Dyplom ukonczyla w pracowni profesora Jerzego Zablockiego . Brala udzial w wielu wystawach idywidualnych i zbiorowych; miedzy innymi Arsenal Ogolnopolska Wystawa Mlodych Tworcow w Warszawie. W latach 90 pracuje w pracowni sconegraficznej Teatru Muzycznego w Gdyni pod dyrekcja Jerzego Grozy, gdzie ma okazje realizowac swoje ambicje arystyczne przy realizacji scenografii do wielu muzykali, miedzy innymi „Les Miserable”. W roku 1990 realizuje swoja scenografie do sztuki „Kaczmarski”. Od 1993 mieszka i tworzy w Londynie. W latach 1994-98 jest redaktorem artystycznym miesiecznika Polish Business. Nieprzerawnie oddaje sie malarstu wystawaiajac indywidualnie swoje prace .Jest czlonkiem APA – Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain . Alicja contributed greatly to the artistic community, taking part in many exhibitions that were individual as well as collaborative, including Arsenal (Poland) National competition of exhibits by young creative artist in Warsaw. Between 1988-90 Alicja Mazur worked in a practical workshop of set design in the Musical theatre of Gdynia under the direction of Jerzy Groza, here she was given the opportunity to put into effect her artistic ambition and integrity, designing sets and costumes for many shows including “Les Miserables”. In 1990 she expressed her own individual work through the production of “Kaczmarski”. She arrived in London, England in 1993 and has been actively creating art henceforth. During the years of 1994-98 she was the art editor of the monthly magazine Polish Business, simultaneously and still enthusiastically devoting herself to her own art, whilst consistently exhibiting individual pieces of art at the galleries in London. She is also an active and valued member, and from 2013, a member of the Board of the Association of Polish Artists (A.P.A) in Great Britain, which regularly exhibits her works.
