Get Licensed is celebrating its 20th year.🎉

Two decades ago, we started with one training room and a simple idea: make it easier for people to get into security work. Since then, more than 450,000 people have trained with us and gone out to protect others, often on the jobs nobody notices until something goes wrong.

To mark our 20th year, we did not want to throw a party for ourselves. We wanted to open the door for the next generation. So we are giving away 20 fully funded security courses.

Each place is the full Door Supervisor course, the main route into the industry, with first aid included where it is needed, and the GuardPass app to help find that first shift. Worth up to £400 each, and completely free.

This is for people starting out. If you have ever thought about a career in security, this is your way in. And if you know someone who deserves the chance, you can put their name forward instead.

A piece of advice from Friat, one of the door supervisors in our community:

Being out in the public eye means people come to you when they need a hand, and not all of it is in the job description. Friat helped an elderly lady with her suitcase in the underground, and the next day a thank-you letter arrived for him. He didn’t expect anything to come of it.
