This experiential two-and-a-half-day short course is a taster of Terapia's MA training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling and covers how to help children to deal with their difficult feelings. You will learn about therapeutic play and its use in facilitating expression of children’s inner worlds. We welcome everyone interested in therapeutic work with children and adolescents, who would like to explore the field of child psychotherapy and counselling. This is also suitable for practitioners who work with children i.e. social workers, teachers, SENCOs, nursery teachers, classroom assistants, school nurses and foster carers.

The course will take place at Terapia’s Headquarters at The Bothy, 17A East End Road, London N3 3QE.

Friday 4th September: 6pm to 9pm:
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September: 10am to 5pm

Self-funded: £245
Employer-funded: £280
