This day has finally arrived!
⠀
All schools in England have opened after the third national lockdown !!!
⠀
We've all been waiting for this event for several months. Many of my students who wanted to come to English courses, start studying on Foundation, A-level, etc. programs will be able to fully start their studies in classes.
⠀
Prior to that, training was carried out only remotely, which caused certain difficulties, but on the other hand, it made it possible not to stop and continue training in a pandemic.
⠀
Many of my students study this way in British schools, study English, take a program at the Studienkolleg, learn German, etc.
⠀
The results of the GCSE and A-level exams, canceled in England due to the pandemic, will be replaced by the grades given by the teachers - this was confirmed by the Ofqual exam control service. The results will be announced in mid-August.
⠀
Secondary schools in England will be encouraged to organize summer classes to help students catch up. The government has announced additional funding of £ 420 million on top of the £ 300 million announced in January.
⠀
How the summer schools will operate and what kind of students they will cover will be decided by the educational institutions themselves.
⠀
On average, each primary school will receive about £ 6,000 extra, each secondary school about £ 22,000. School principals can use this money, for example, to pay overtime for teachers who will provide additional education.
⠀
All visitors must go through mandatory quarantine for 10 days, on the second and eighth days you need to pass the COVID test, which I told you about in detail earlier.
⠀
All students are quarantined at the residence or host family.
⠀
Today, of course, do not forget about the women's day on March 8 !!! May spring bring you the warmth and joy of long-awaited meetings, the resumption of flights and unforgettable trips, good mood!
⠀
Will it be interesting for you to learn about my students’ experience, how everything went and is going on now in foreign educational institutions? Which country are you interested in?

20/01/2021
Before the New Year, I visited several educational institutions that prepare students for admission to UK universities.
⠀
Unfortunately, then there was no way to show and tell in detail about all the colleges that I attended, but now, in January, due to the lockdown, time has appeared.
⠀
So, at the end of December, I went to Brighton, a city on the English Channel that is ranked in the top 5 best cities to live in the UK.
⠀
Lately, many creative, digital and media companies have started popping up here. For this reason, Brighton even began to be called Brighton Silicon-on-the-Sea, or simply "silicone beach" by analogy with the American high-tech zone Silicon Valley. Social media monitoring company Brandwatch is headquartered in Brighton. But be that as it may, Brighton's tourism industry brings hundreds of millions of pounds to the economy and employs tens of thousands of people.
Brighton is also a city of students. There are two universities - the University of Sussex and the University of Brighton, as well as many other educational institutions, including language schools and preparatory colleges for British universities, among them Kings College.
⠀
As a division of Kings Colleges, opened in 2017 and welcomes about 100 students from around the world, the college is located in the city's vibrant student district, close to shops, restaurants, transport hubs and the beach.
⠀
The college offers courses in English and preparation for the IELTS exam, as well as A-level, Foundation programs with the opportunity to progress to leading British universities. Students can start their studies twice a year - from September or January.
⠀
The peculiarity of the college is that there are small classes, the atmosphere is very family friendly. The residence is located on the 4th and 3rd floors of the college, which means that there is no need to waste time on transport!
What factors do you consider when you choose university or college abroad?
Based on the results of my voting in Stories, a unanimous decision was made to write a separate post about historical changes, there is no other way to say, which have already entered into force in the 🇬🇧UK.
⠀
🎯I will focus now on student visas, although believe me there is a lot that is new in other categories of visas. The government issued amendments and clarifications, some of them 300-500 pages long, so immigration lawyers had plenty to do as soon as they were published in December 2020.
⠀
🎓The most important change is the ability to work after graduating from Bachelor and Master Degree 2 years after graduation. PHD students are allowed to stay up to 3 years.
⠀
✅All Master and PHD students can take their dependants (spouse, children under 18, civil partner) with them. Spouses will be eligible for full time work. Children can go to school, BUT you need to specifically search and check free options so that the school can accept foreign children.
⠀
‼️All students will be entitled to work 20 hours a week and 40 hours during vacations. 2 years Post Graduate Work Permit after graduation does not automatically lead to a residence permit, BUT switching to another category of visas can lead to a residence permit and citizenship. For example, switching to a work visa.
⠀
✅It has been Changed the financial requirement for all students. If you are studying in London, then you need to show at least £ 1,334 per month and £ 1,023 for students outside London.
⠀
✅Previously, students who wanted to improve their English had to apply for a student visa up to 6 months. For other short-term categories of visas (tourist, guest, etc.), it was possible to take the course for no more than 30 days. Now with the Short Stay Visitor Visa, you can now study at a language school for more than 30 days.
⠀
‼️Great changes have taken place for European citizens. Some parents ask if a residence permit in Europe will give any advantages when applying in the UK? The answer to date is NO. All Europeans will need to apply for a student visa to study in the UK.
✅This process will be easier than for foreigners, however, everyone who plans a long-term course will need a visa. For all short-term programs up to 6 months, including English courses, a visa is not required.
⠀
✅It will no longer be possible to take advantage of financing and obtain a loan from the UK. And yes, EU students will need to pay the same tuition fees as international students. The only exception is Scotland, which decided to leave the cost for Europeans at the same level as before.
⠀
✅According to the new migration system, the quota for the issuance of work visas of 20 thousand, which in the past has been repeatedly exhausted, is cancelled. Also, the minimum wage threshold is being lowered to £ 25,600 per year, which can be lowered to £ 20,000 if certain conditions are met or when a specialist is hired from the list of scarce professions.
What do you think about changes?

The long-awaited 2021 🎉has come!
⠀
We all turned over the sheet of the calendar in the hope that the new year will bring relief and the abolition of restrictions, but, unfortunately, for now we all continue to live according to the old rules of 2020.
⠀
‼️The UK announced the closure of schools until 15 February 2021, Ireland, Germany extended the closure of borders until 31 January 2021. Canada, France and Germany now accept students only for long-term studies of 6 months or more, but it is necessary for each student to additionally check the possibility of applying for a visa due to internal restrictions.
⠀
It is believed that February 11 will be the new year according to the Chinese astrological calendar, so let's hope that it will bring us a change.
⠀
I'm not going to waste time and have already scheduled online events for January 2021, because, in any case, my dears, you need to be aware of the latest changes and share new and verified information with you!
⠀
So here's my plan:
⠀
✅On January 13, the seminar "New Immigration Rules in the UK"
⠀
✅The Canada Partnership Phorum forum on Canadian education will take place on January 19.
⠀
✅On January 21, the international organization Quality English will hold its online event, where leading English language schools from the UK, USA, Malta, Ireland, Canada, etc. and educational agents can meet. By the way, our agency has been accredited by this organisation since 2014.
⠀
✅From January 26 to January 28, the Study World online exhibition will be held, where educational institutions from all over the world will take part, including educational institutions in Germany, Ireland, the USA, etc.
⠀
‼️Some schools have already updated their booking conditions for 2021, offer discounts on their courses, scholarships, which I will definitely talk about in my next posts and stories.
⠀
What would you be interested in learning more about? Do you have any current questions about overseas education and visa issues?
⠀
☎️I remind everyone that, as before, from Monday to Friday we are in contact from 10 to 18-00 London time.
31/12/2020
I hope you and your ❤️loved ones are safe and healthy during these challenging times.
⠀
First and foremost, I am writing to share my 🙏thanks for your continuous support throughout 2020 and I also wanted to reflect on the past year and share our positive outlook for the upcoming new year!
⠀
From the beginning of the pandemic, the education sector has been immensely damaged by the changing faces of the COVID-19 and we admire our partners and students for their resilience in persevering through it. We would also like to offer them our best 🎉wishes for the future and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
⠀
The 🇬🇧United Kingdom, and the world alike, have been going through some very dark times of late but there is light at the end of the tunnel with the roll out of the vaccine, the both the education sector and the wider field will start to return to some level of normality.
⠀
Over the last few months, we've proven to be a resilient 🎯education agent and this wouldn't have been possible without you, our students and partners and SBE Team.
⠀
I believe our performance through the unprecedented challenges of this year paves the way for us to continue to grow in the future, and continue to make us reliable and highly trusted experts in ✈️studying abroad.
⠀
And finally, as we approach the 🎄🎄festive season, I wanted to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families this 🎁holiday season!

🇨🇦When I visited Niagara College I was impressed with facilities for students and opportunities for students that college offers for international students.

📚Funds from the enterprises, in turn, are directed to support student learning.

As Cicero said, History is the teacher of life.
⠀
There are many interesting professions closely related to this discipline, sometimes contradictory and extremely inaccurate, but no less exciting.
⠀
Very often, when choosing subjects for A-level programme, my students and I discuss what profession can be obtained after studying at the university.
⠀
I draw your attention that if a student has not studied certain subjects that are related to the future speciality, then student may not enter the university for the chosen course !!!
⠀
Let's figure out together which professions are closely related to the study of history.
⠀
🎯Political scientist
⠀
It is impossible to become a good political scientist without knowledge of history. Indeed, in order to study political processes and make forecasts, one needs to understand historical events. Political scientists research social life, write books, create an image of politicians and parties, and advise on political issues.
⠀
🎯Artist and museum worker
⠀
Experts in a specific field of art. Most often, they study the paintings of a particular author, style, era, and so on. They are often contacted for professional criticism or assessment of the value of a work.
⠀
🎯Barrister and Solicitor
⠀
One of the highest paid professions in the UK and US, difficult to learn but well worth it.
⠀
🎯Journalists and writers, television workers
⠀
One of the most famous and popular professions, however, if you dream of working for the BBC or other channels, your English must be impeccable.
⠀
🎯Ethnographer
⠀
If you are not against travel, pay attention to the profession of an ethnographer. This specialist studies history, culture, traditions, everyday life of the people.
⠀
🎯Archaeologist
⠀
If an ethnographer understands the general issues of the emergence of a people and its way of life, then an archaeologist is mostly a scientist who reconstructs history from material objects - artifacts.
⠀
🎯Archivist
⠀
Historian-archivist deals with historical documents. He can distinguish an authentic document from a forgery or compile a family tree.
