🏁 Another fantastic result for Hanley!

A huge congratulations to Hanley Yates on another outstanding weekend in the MK Karting Championship.

After qualifying on pole position, Hanley produced another superb drive to secure his second consecutive championship victory, a result that now sees him move to the top of the championship standings with an 11-point lead.

What's even more impressive is the way he responded to a challenging start to the weekend. Following a difficult Friday practice session, Hanley and his team worked hard to find the pace, turning things around with a brilliant qualifying performance before converting pole position into another race win.

That determination, resilience and willingness to keep improving are exactly the qualities we love to see.

At North London Garages GTA, we're proud to support young people who show real passion for the automotive world. Motorsport demands commitment, discipline and countless hours of preparation behind the scenes, and Hanley continues to demonstrate all of those qualities every time he gets behind the wheel.

It's also fantastic to see the support from the people around him. Success in motorsport is never achieved alone, and the dedication of Hanley's family, team and supporters plays a huge part in helping him continue to develop both on and off the circuit.

With more training planned over the summer, including practice sessions at Silverstone Karting, and several more championship rounds still to come, there's plenty of racing ahead—but leading the championship at this stage of the season is a brilliant achievement and one that should be celebrated.

Tomorrow, North London Garages GTA is delighted to be sponsoring PATINA – Festival for the Unpresentable, alongside Tinker Club.

PATINA is a celebration of the classic vehicles that are loved, driven and enjoyed exactly as they are. It's not about concours perfection or immaculate restorations—it's about character, history and the stories that every classic vehicle has to tell.

Whether it's a beautifully preserved survivor, a well-used daily classic or something that's held together by determination and enthusiasm, PATINA celebrates the cars that continue to be enjoyed on the road.

The event takes place in the stunning surroundings of Lullingstone Castle in Kent and welcomes enthusiasts of all ages. Alongside hundreds of fascinating vehicles, there'll be picnic competitions, awards, great food and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow classic car owners and enthusiasts.

We're passionate about supporting the wider automotive community, from the next generation of apprentices learning their trade to the enthusiasts who keep automotive history alive.

Congratulations to Hanley Yates on securing his first victory of the MK Karting Championship season at Round 5!

After a fantastic weekend of preparation, including valuable testing at Whilton Mill, Hanley carried that confidence into race day with an outstanding performance. He topped the practice sessions, secured pole position in qualifying and converted that pace into a brilliant race win to stand on the top step of the podium for the very first time this season.

An achievement like this doesn't happen overnight. It takes countless hours of practice, determination, resilience and a willingness to keep improving every time you get behind the wheel.

Perhaps most impressive of all is Hanley's consistency throughout the championship. This latest victory now leaves him just two points behind the championship leader, with plenty of racing still to come. The title fight is well and truly alive.
