University of Derby has now re-opened applications and CAS issuance for Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals who are currently residing in the UK.

To support this process, it is essential that all candidates meet the following mandatory eligibility criteria:

◼️ Must be currently residing in the UK at the point of application and visa submission
◼️ Must have held lawful UK residence for a continuous minimum of 12 months, with no breaches of immigration conditions
◼️ Must hold a visa that permits switching into the Student route from within the UK
◼️ Must not hold a visa that prohibits switching (including Visitor visa, Short-term Student visa, Parent of a Child Student visa, Seasonal Worker visa, or permissions granted outside the Immigration Rules)
◼️ Must not be subject to immigration bail
◼️ Must not have a pending application with UKVI under another immigration route at the time of applying

As a reminder, please also note that we are currently working towards a CAS issuance deadline of 13 July, and we strongly encourage the early submission of complete applications to ensure timely processing.
