Last week, Year 2 have had an eventful time learning more about the Great Fire of London in History! In the lesson, they had the opportunity think about what has changed since the time of 1666. They found many changes compared to our world today!

Reading the Gruffalo really inspired Reception and after the story they decided to go outside and find materials to make the Gruffalo a new home!
When they came inside and showed the Gruffalo his new home, he loved it! But he then told us he was feeling hungry, so they quickly made him some yummy Autumnal cakes and pancakes with the playdough!

Yesterday Yr 3 travelled to Butser Ancient Farm, an archaeological open-air museum and experimental archaeology site in Hampshire. The site has experimental reconstructions of prehistoric, Romano-British and Anglo-Saxon buildings, so the students were truly able to experience all aspects of prehistoric life
